Pending Skype Session

This morning we awoke to an email from our agent. We were told that the Special Investigation Report which the judge had requested back in early April, was, in fact, not finished and turned into the Court by the due date of May 23rd. In fact, they are late and say that they intend to finish it next week. Thoroughly disappointing, yet somehow not shocking. They said that once the report is turned in, the judge (the same slow judge that took 2 months from the court date before requesting this report) then issues his ruling, at which point we will be given a travel date 6 weeks from then. So we thought we would have them in April or May, it may turn out that we are lucky to get them in August. We sit here wondering what the next screw up is going to be. Seriously.

On a happier note, the Taiwan agency, ChungYi, has scheduled a Skype session on June 17th with the children. It will also serve as the first time the siblings will meet each other. We are pretty excited about this.

In other news, I have my oral board preparation to distract me. I go to Maine for a review course in June, then I will sit for the exam in July a few weeks later. The good thing is I will see my best friend Susie at the Exam as her husband is one of the examiners (not mine) who I have not seen for over 2 years.
