We had a fun Easter week with the kids. Luckily, between Auntie K and Nana, they had ample full Easter baskets, then they got a second set of baskets at our friends the Sherwoods where we had a delicious brunch. My sister had the great idea of putting a single M&M in the plastic eggs, it was brilliant because when Madelyn found the eggs, she would open each one and eat the candy before looking for another. Patience is not one her virtues. Isaac did well finding the eggs too, but he was a bit intimidated by our neighbor Mr. Ryan dressed up on Bunny suit bearing gifts of candy. Even the lure of candy wasn't enough to make him brave.
We spent a glorious Saturday walking in the tide pools, the tide was unusually far out, and the weather was mid 70's and sunny. We BBQ'd tri-tip and Tom cooked oysters on the grill for us. It was delicious.
