Toto?

After our whirlwind tour of Texas (a little turkey, a not-so-little wedding of my delightful cousin Danielle), Lemoore (Ron and Margarette's house continues to improve and amaze), and San Francisco (no Bushman, but can you go wrong with Coit Tower and biking the Golden Gate Bridge?), Theresa and I decided we deserved a vacation. Or maybe after we dragged our jet-lagged bodies through a week of call right after we stumbled off the plane, we needed to get out of the house....in any case, traveling 2 hours North to Okuma and Cape Hedo was just the ticket. Okuma is the million-dollar resort property the military bought for $50/acre in the 1940's, and after they burned out the fields full o' Habu (we're not kidding) it turned out quite lovely. Cape Hedo is the most Northern point on the island - I had been needing to prove to myself that we really are on an island. It's certainly not Kansas, anyway...
