4 cousins and a funeral

Okay so there wasn't a funeral but I thought that was a catchy title.... But we had a household of cousins, ages 19 months, 23 months, 30 months and 4 for the week between Christmas and New Years. It was a lot of fun. The kids did great together. Except for our heater breaking down toward the end of the week during 20's degree weather, a good time was had by all.

Max, though barely 2, is kinesthetically gifted (we believe this to be true) Very brave and active and with good coordination. He's a really good climber. He really loved the bouncing horse.

I loved getting to know my nephew Miles. He's four this month and extremely verbal and precocious. He speaks full sentences with proper syntax. After a week with Miles, Madelyn now says "Yesh" instead of just nodding her head and the occasional "yeah".

He immediately took to Isaac, and at one point was overheard asking his mother, "how come Isaac doesn't talk very much?" Too cute.

  1. here's a thought, since Madelyn LOVES anything that is suppose to be Isaac's... if there's a time you want Madelyn to wear something, and she won't, just tell her it's Isaac's... hehehehe...

the cousins look like they had a great time together. it's really nice they have cousins close in age.
