Last night, for no apparent reason, Theresa decided we should have a chocolate souffle for dessert. Let it never be said that I'm a man to stand in the way of that kind of progress! While I was puttering about adding some finishing touches to my new MiniPulse airplane, and between episodes of Battlestar Galactica (surprisingly good!), she cracked her Better Homes and Gardens cookbook and whipped up the the souffle and homemade whipped cream. It was fantastic.
We have noticed that descriptions of evenings like these to our toddler-rearing colleagues always seem to be followed by questions about when we are due to travel. Strange.
