1st Vaccinations in the US

A cute picture of Auntie K and the kids during their visit

Mom, with her old fashioned camera that uses film, taking tons of pictures of her grandchildren.

The kids did great today getting their flu shots and assorted overdue vaccinations. Poor Isaac had to get his ppd. They did well, and only cried during the actual administering of the shots. Then we all went to Skippers for dinner which was actually a living hell for me (it was my turn to sit between the kids), though the kids loved it, Isaac played in his food to a fault, and we now know that Madelyn loves clam chowder. Nonetheless, even though it was a fast food kind of place, we felt compelled to leave a hefty tip at the table in apology. Things were so messy that we had to throw Madelyn's tennis shoes in the laundry when we got home. I mean seriously, clam chowder on the shoes!!! What's that all about!? (okay, maybe it was my fault for not having her high chair pulled up to the table)

Tomorrow's plan: Another trip to the commissary for things forgotten, then (week early) Thanksgiving Dinner with Nana and Grandpa. We have learned that "Gramps" is too hard to pronounce by Madelyn, but "Grandpa" is much easier.

  1. ok, Auntie K looks like she just "got off the boat". habla english?!?

gotta love Nana w/her "vintage" camera. we should buy up the "vintage" film and sell it to her on ebay. we could make a bundle!

Madelyn & Isaac are going to want Nana and Grandpa/Gramps to move up permanently... junk food and fast food haven!!
