First Visit with Nana and Auntie K and Uncle T

This is what happens when Auntie P isn't around!
(Seriously, why does she do this with her yogurt?? Why??)

We had a full and wonderful weekend. Auntie K and Uncle Tom drove up with the van maximally loaded with stuff for the kids, including their grandmother, Nana. This was the first time they met them and it went great. The visit was too short, only 2 days, but the kids warmed up to them quickly. It didn't hurt that Uncle Tom refurbished an antique radio flyer wagon for them with a rain cover, step up and all. And Nana had the two rocking chairs that were originally made for my sister and I reupholstered for our two. Things have come full circle.

Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Nana and Isaac reading the tabloids.

The kids take a spin in their new wagon.

A very happy Madelyn and Isaac. They love their rockers.

Isaac got some new boots from Nana. Irrigator boots are what they're called.

The whole gang.

Madelyn with Nana at our neighbor's house.

Madelyn clowning around with Tom. What strong Abs she has, oh my!

Madelyn with Uncle T

Nana reading to Isaac at bedtime. He is becoming more interested in books. He says "buh" for books. He tends to skip to the pages with cars and trucks pictures. He is his daddy's son.

  1. Hmmm... no pictures of Auntie K w/the kiddos. I wonder why? That's because she was busy taking a million plus one pictures of them. Which is perfectly fine with Aunite K. All I can say, is PERSEVERANCE... that's what it took to get those great pictures of Madelyn.

  2. Perhaps Madelyn is using her organic yogurt to condition her hair, because she's not allowed to use beer as a conditioner.

I absolutely love Isaac's fashion statement with his onesie not being snapped.

... AND, there WILL be more family group shots in the near future (at least, as "near" as possible).
