Joel really surprised me on the morning of our Anniversary. He announced that he had secured a sitter and that we had dinner reservations at a quaint restaurant in Poulsbo. Our anniversary was on the 11th (Veteran's Day) so we took advantage of the holiday and got some stuff done at the house and just hung out with the kids.
