Good Bye Brunch at Barbie's Cafe

Kathleen, Patricia and my mother "Nana"

There is a quaint diner a few miles up the road from us called Barbie's Cafe. It's on the water and serves pretty good food. We decided to try going out for breakfast and it was a real success. It was our last meal with Patricia who we sadly took to the airport later that day. She was here for over a month and was the key in allowing Madelyn to really attach to me. She was able to handle Isaac which allowed me to give extra attention to my daughter. We will miss her more than words can say and are forever grateful for her selflessness and generosity of love and time.

Uncle Frank "Papa", Patricia's father, nannied my nephew Christopher, so things have come full circle in a manner of speaking. We sure wish Uncle Frank was still with us. He would love these kids I'm sure.

  1. The visit was way too short. But better than nothing. Don't know why the school district I work for expects their school secretary to be at work when school is in session. Thank you for letting us invade Camp Seabeck for the brief 48 hours. WE LOVE THEM!!! and MISS them!!!

  2. ok, one more comment. Papa (Uncle Frank) most definitely would LOVE these babies. BUT, there would definitely be some anguish over the NON Organic treats he would be giving them.
