Joel and I took a day trip to the eastern side of Okinawa a few weekends ago. There are a couple of the little islands accessible by bridge, Ikei Island and Higahama Island. In the process, we found a little race track, and for 1000 yen (about 10 bucks), Joel could drive this little tiny race car around a track for 10 minutes. He liked it a lot. Thank goodness he's easily entertained. I figure better this is better than sky diving which is on the list of "Stuff Joel isn't allowed to do anymore", but I digress.... It was a good day which included ice cream and gorgeous views.
