Watching the tree go down! Chain saws! What's not to like!?!
Before
AfterWe had a long excursion yesterday going to pickup our new minivan in downtown Seattle and then to get Auntie Patricia from the airport. It went well overall, considering two toddlers running lose at a Toyota showroom resulted in only 1 broken item, oh well.
Auntie Patricia cleverly endeared herself to Madelyn by bringing her one of those adorable little purses with a stuffed poddle inside. She takes it with her now. She has a possessive streak. Madelyn, not Patricia.
Today was somewhat nice weather so we went next door to watch the neighbor saw down a big willow tree. Fun free entertainment for all. Then the kids ran around and played ball. Joel played catch with our 9 year old neighbor, while his dad worked on the tree.
We love having Patricia here, I had my best lunch today. We had homemade deli sandwhiches on fresh sourdough bread thanks to Madelyn, Joel and Auntie P for going to Central Market while Isaac had his morning nap. Yeah groceries! Things are definitely smoother now that she is here.
