Bedtime topics and Hanging out in Aunt Patricia's room

Joel and Madelyn at bedtime, reading one of the many books
our friends and family showered us with.

Isaac reading a biography on foreign adoption with his Aunt Patricia. He's wearing one of many PJ's from his older cousin Miles. They are so warm and simply adorable on him.
Thanks for all the warm PJ's, Aunt Joanna!

Giving Aunt Patricia "Five!". His favorite thing to do. He also does "fist bumps" now. And when this is started "giving five" and "fist bump's" have to be given to everyone present.

The guest room has become an occasional place to hang out for the kids, to see what Aunt Patricia is doing, play on the slide, get into the drawers, whatever strikes their fancy....

Isaac is such a sweet baby. He has a regular nap schedule now, 2-2.5 hours after lunch without a hitch. He is 100% crib trained and able to fall asleep in his crib on his own for nap time and at bedtime. I honestly think he likes the crib, and he likes going to sleep. As long as he has his special pig blanket, which he has started calling "baybay" like his sister. I also think he's quick to catch on to things, because last night when I said "Isaac, time to go night-night" after reading 3 books, he shook his head and quickly handed me another book. Pretty clever...
