Back to Work today!

Today was my first day back to work, and the first day both Joel and I were both at work simultaneously. The kids did swimmingly with Aunt Patricia, though they knew something was up, as they had gotten used to myself and P being home with them all day when Joel was at work. People at work kept asking if it was hard and I could honestly say I wasn't worried because I knew they were in good hands. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss them quite a bit. We timed it so that Joel has the entire next week off while I will be working and on call.

Aunt Patricia has been here for 2 weeks now, helping us keep our sanity and has handily set herself up as "favorite playmate, diaper changer, and reliable provider of tasty treats" to the children. We celebrated a successful day when we got home, by going on a short hike on Clear Creek Trail in town. The kids really love the jogging stroller, and we think it's cute seeing them side by side. They actually both know what the words "hold hands" means and they will do this on demand, they actually hold each other's hands. Pretty cute.
