Joel and I have been busy baby proofing the house. It's amazing what dangers lurk amongst our stuff. We had some friends over last weekend and they brought their adorable 18 month son. Having him here was like a "dry run" as he thoroughly tested the baby gate and found other dangers that we hadn't identified.
We are pretty excited about the trip. The kids will actually be given to us on September 13th which happens to be Joel's birthday. For sure it's going to be a birthday he will never forget.
