We went to the Social Security office today for the 2nd time and successfully submitted applications for their social security numbers. These are needed for them to get passports, name changes, eligibility for military medical care etc, so it was a big step. Luckily there is an office about 10 minutes from our house.
Isaac has got a bad cold and is more needly than normal, so I was sitting with Isaac while Joel was at the window getting stuff done, half trying to keep an eye on M. Meaning this left Madelyn roaming around in the waiting area looking at people. She then decided to climb into and lie down in an empty bookshelf, and then actually tried to coax Isaac into climbing in the bottom shelf below her. It was pretty funny to watch. Yes, we are now "those people with the out of control children".

as long as you're NOT one of those moms who YELLS the kids names because she is too damn LAZY to get off her "fat #@%" and walk over to her children to stop them from doing whatever they should not be doing. you know, when everyone KNOWS the kids names by the time they leave.
ReplyDeleteactually, those waiting at the SS Office were probably quite entertained by our two adorable ever so cute babies. i'm SURE it made the wait much more enjoyable for them.
