When I went to Chicago to take my oral exam, I got to spend a good amount of time with Susie, my best friend who I've known since high school. Her husband was one of the examiners, so she and her son came out for that week as well. She was a really great support for me given my screwed up sleep cycle. She would come to my room and watch a movie with me late at night when I couldn't go to sleep. We had fun, ordered room service, went out for a celebration steak dinner after my test, it was a true blessing to get to see her after two years.
