Our Adoption facilitators PH and Gina took us to the Zoo today. Taipei Zoo is really a great zoo actually. A lot of animals, good exhibits. The kids did great and no meltdown's, but we made sure to stay only just over 2 hours. Things we learned: Isaac loves tofu, Madelyn likes it. Madelyn LOVES juice boxes, yipes. We remembered everything for this outing except our camera which were really wanting when Madelyn and Isaac started playing in this little yellow beehive cave thing. Joel insists it was supposed to be representation of a pile of dung, but I think it was a beehive.
Cute Madelyn thing: this morning I was changing the baby's diaper and Joel asked Madelyn to bring me a diaper. He gave her a diaper and she brought it to me. Then Joel went to the bathroom, then Madelyn went and found the wipes box and brought them to me on her own initiative. It was sad that Madelyn knows more about diaper changing then Joel........
Not so cute Madelyn thing: Madelyn was mad at Isaac for something. I think he tried to take something from her, so she used it (a transformer toy) and hit him with it. My first thought is "My daughter is using Tools!" Kind of a Jane Goodall moment. Second thought, thank god she hasn't figured out the whole going for the head thing when she hits him. Suffice it to say, Isaac didn't even notice.

omg! you forgot the camera? i know, one more thing to remember. perhaps that is why Auntie Kat made sure mommy had plenty of STYLISH bags in various sizes to haul the essentials: snacks, juice, air freshener (hehehe), diapers, wipes, and the CAMERA!!! have you guys bought a video camera yet?
