I couldn't help but mention the fact that my lovely wife is now a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. Yup, she flew to Chicago from Okinawa in late July, and more than actually showing up to the 8am exam with her skirt on correctly (after a 14 hour time change, I think my skirt would be on backwards, but I digress), she actually impressed the 6 board examiners that grilled her for 2 hours about 6 months-worth of her surgical cases. At one point, after an examiner had asked a preposterously difficult question that Theresa admitted to not knowing, another examiner turned to the questioner and asked: "Do you even know the answer to that question?" The answer, of course, was "Nope, just thought she might."
A delectable end to a preposterously lengthy educational process, don't you think?
